Inappropriate Behavior Policy
Purpose:
This policy is designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both clients and therapists during all massage therapy sessions. As a mobile massage therapy provider, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of conduct and professionalism at all times.
1. Professional Boundaries
All massage services are strictly therapeutic and non-sexual.
The therapist will always use appropriate draping techniques to protect the client’s privacy and maintain professional standards.
The therapist will not perform services that fall outside of their professional scope of practice.
2. Inappropriate Behavior
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the session and possible refusal of future service:
Any form of sexual advance, request, or comment, including suggestive remarks, gestures, or exposure.
Lewd, rude, or disrespectful language or conduct.
Touching the therapist in any inappropriate or non-consensual way.
Intoxication or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the session.
Any other behavior deemed by the therapist to be unsafe, threatening, or disrespectful.
3. Therapist Rights
The therapist reserves the right to end any session immediately if inappropriate behavior occurs.
The full session fee will still apply if a session is terminated due to client misconduct.
The therapist reserves the right to refuse future appointments to any individual who violates this policy.
In cases of harassment or assault, law enforcement may be contacted.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and maintain proper personal hygiene.
Clients should communicate any discomfort or boundary concerns in a respectful manner.
Clients agree to this policy as a condition of booking and receiving services.
Cancellation Policy
Purpose:
To provide fair and consistent guidelines for appointment cancellations and rescheduling, while respecting both the client’s time and the therapist’s time and travel commitments.
1. Appointment Changes & Cancellations
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows (failure to be present at the appointment location) will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.
2. Travel Considerations
Because this is a mobile service, the therapist invests time and travel costs to reach your location.
If the therapist arrives at your location and the client is unavailable or refuses service, it will be treated as a no-show and the full session fee will apply.
In cases of difficult-to-access locations (e.g., gated communities, apartment complexes), clients are responsible for ensuring the therapist can enter and park safely and promptly.
3. Emergencies & Exceptions
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances happen. In genuine cases (e.g., sudden illness, family emergency, dangerous weather), the cancellation fee may be waived or reduced at the therapist’s discretion.
The therapist reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to illness, unsafe conditions, or emergencies, with as much notice as possible.
4. Late Arrivals
If a client is late, the session may be shortened to ensure the therapist stays on schedule for other clients.
The full session fee will still apply for shortened appointments due to late arrival.
If the client is more than 15 minutes late without contact, the appointment may be considered a no-show.
5. Payment of Fees
Cancellation or no-show fees must be paid before any future appointments can be booked.
Clients who repeatedly cancel or miss appointments may be required to prepay for future services or may be refused further bookings.
